Things I learned:
- Static friction is greater than kinetic friction.
- It is easier to keep an object moving than to make an object move.
- Every time you start a car, the entire earth moves in the opposite direction.
- The part of the wheel touching the ground is momentarily at rest relative to the ground.

Things I learned:
- Force = Mass x Acceleration.
- Every action has a reaction.
- Kinetic Energy is, for example what a ball rolling downhill gathers.
- The law of Inertia says that an object at rest will stay at rest unless it is acted upon by an outside force, and an object that is moving will continue to move at the same speed unless it is acted on by an outside force.

Things I learned:
- Sound moves at 700 mph, 340 meters per second, 1000 ft. per second.
- Nodes are the fixed sections in sound waves.
- Sonic booms are caused by objects moving faster than the speed of sound and dragging along sound waves.
- Police men use doppler tech in their speed counter.

Things I learned:
- The glass in optic fibers is so clear that if you looked through a kilometer of it, you would still be able to see through.
- The angle at which light reflects off of raindrops is always around 42 degrees.
- No two people can look at the same rainbow at the same time.
- The reason the sky looks blue is because red light doesn’t really interact with air molecules because of their long wavelength, but blue light reflects like crazy, so it seems as if the blue light is coming from all directions and the sky looks blue.

Things I learned:
- Modern digital cameras have 4,000,000 to 5,000,000 pixels in each picture.
- A focal point is where light converges.
- Near-sighted people’s eyes converge light before it hits the retina therefore it is out of focus by the time the image arrives at your retina.
- To correct nearsightedness your contact lenses and/or glasses must partially diverge the light before it goes through your cornea.
- Farsightedness is the opposite of nearsightedness, the cornea is not strong enough to converge the light before it arrives at your retina so you are not able to see the image.
- To correct farsightedness your contact lenses and/or glasses must partially converge the light before it goes through your cornea.

Things I learned:
- Blu-ray discs hold about five times more content than a regular DVD.
- Sound is 1/5 slower than light.
- Amplitude is the vertical measurement of a wave.
- Wavelength is the horizontal measurement of the distance between peaks.
- Waves carry energy, not matter.

Things I learned:
- There are now digital cassettes.
- Everything digital is just on long binary number.
- If the tracks on a CD were unrolled in one long line, then it would be about three miles long.
- The pits on a CD are 1 1,000,000 of a meter to 3 1,000,000 of a meter long.
